Cabrio Tote and a Giveaway!

A few weeks ago, my mom, my sisters and I took a little weekend trip to do some “Leaf Peeping”.  It was just so amazingly beautiful!  We took a little hike in the mountains and the path up was so pretty.

When we got to the end of the path, this is what awaited us!  So amazing!

I love each change of season and all of the beauty that goes along with it.

I really wanted to make a fun “fall” bag for our trip.  I kept thinking about the Cabrio Tote by Leah at Sew Spoiled.  She made a version in the most beautiful Meadowsweet fabric by Sandi Henderson.  It is just perfect for fall!  Leah, I’m sorry for copying but it was just too beautiful to resist.  I am now totally in love with this pattern.  First of all it is very clear and easy to follow with plenty of pictures.  Secondly, the concept for this bag is genius!

   

It’s a shoulder bag.

 

Give the straps a little pull and it’s a backpack!  How awesome is that ?  I have since used this bag running errands with my four kiddos and it is just so nice to be able to change it to backpack mode.

 

There is plenty of room inside and two interior pockets for keys, phone, etc.
